Service Description

Dampp-Chaser's Piano Life Saver system is recommended by many piano manufactures. The purpose of the products is to keep a stable micro-climate for the piano, reducing the effects of the climate surrounding the piano. Increased stability is important for maintaining the piano's ability to stay in tune, as well as for prevention of corrosion and mold due to moisture. The partial system includes a humidistat for monitoring the relative humidity in the piano and one or more dehumidifying rod(s), which is/are automatically activated when humidity is too high for your valuable instrument. The humidistat is installed inside the piano and must remain plugged in.
